Antoine Hunter

Antoine Hunter is a Deaf dancer, teacher, activist and advocate. He is the power behind the Urban Jazz Dance Company and Bay Area International Deaf Dance Festival. 

Nominator: “He brings light, growth, and fulfillment to all who get the opportunity to enjoy his dancing.  His enthusiasm and creativity is contagious.  Also he brings excitement and joy wherever he goes.”

Nominator: “Mr Hunter is a Deaf Choreographer and dancer creating artworks, bringing important themes of Audism, Racism, Sexism and more to the stage and aiming to educate and inform how we as society can improve.”
